All Members are invited to sharpen their observational skills at Sketch Group. Drawing or painting from a life model is one of the best ways to practice one of the primary skills of an artist. Two sessions are held each week, Monday afternoons, 1:00 – 4:30 PM and Thursday evenings, 7:00 – 9:30 PM. Clothed model “portrait sessions” and nude model “figure sessions” alternate weeks. A Sketch Group Facilitator is present to set up poses and keep posing times. Easels, benches, stools, tables, etc. are provided for use and attendees are welcome to work in any media. You must bring your own supplies, no storage space is available for equipment.
