Need help making it through another year of Art College?

The Cincinnati Art Club, in keeping with its 135+ year tradition of advancing the knowledge and love of art through education, is offering annual scholarships for post-secondary Fine Arts students. Multiple awards are made each year to those attending a BA or BFA programs in visual art. Applicants must demonstrate exemplary artistic accomplishment in the production of original artwork in traditional visual arts media, including painting, drawing, and sculpture.

Annual Scholarship Competition
For School Year 2025-2026

Applicants must demonstrate exemplary artistic ability in their original artwork using traditional visual art practices, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and illustration.

To Qualify Applicants Must–

  • Be attending an accredited college or university within 50 miles of Cincinnati.
  • Be a full-time student majoring in Fine Arts, currently in their first, second or third year of study (i.e. The competition is not open to entering freshman, graduating seniors, or students enrolled in graduate degree programs).

Your email address
Your phone number
Name of school you are attending
Name of one academic reference and their email address
Your current GPA
Expected date of Graduation

Attach sample images of six works of art. At least 3 of the 6 works must demonstrate a mastery of traditional art disciplines such as representational life drawing, painting, and/or sculpture. The other 3 works can represent the student’s personal artistic direction and vision in these mediums: painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and illustration. NO AI GENERATED ART OR IMAGES WILL BE ACCEPTED. ARTWORK MUST BE CREATED BY ONE’S OWN SELF.
