Mt. Adams Art Festival
Plein air painting is the practice of creating work outdoors, directly within the landscape. It will take place throughout the Mt. Adams Art Festival!
In partnership with the Cincinnati Art Club, painters will be working live across the neighborhood, responding in real time to the architecture, streets, and the natural atmosphere of Mt. Adams.
30 plein air painters will be working along the Festival route, from the Art Club up to the Business District.
This tradition reflects a long-standing connection between artists and place, something that continues in Mt. Adams, Cincinnati!

On May 30th, 2026, during the Mt. Adams Arts Festival, Cincinnati Art Club will be holding a SPECIAL EXHIBITION of Plein AirArtwork Join us from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM to see local and regional artists’ plein air paintings.
Admission is free and open to the public!

On May 30th, 2026, Mt. Adams, Cincinnati will become a walkable arts experience, connecting the Cincinnati Art Museum to the neighborhood through visual art, live music, plein air painting, community activations, and more!
Join us from 1:00 – 5:00 PM to explore local and regional artists, experience live painting throughout the streets, and spend the day in one of Cincinnati’s most historic arts neighborhoods.
