Meetings | Programs

For Members and their invited guests–
Dinner or Brunch Programs are held on the third Friday evening (Dinner) or Saturday morning (Brunch) of the month during the Club’s regular season (September – May). Check the Club Calendar for that month’s scheduled Program. The May meeting is open to Members only, it is our Annual Business Meeting.
Reservations are mandatory and the Reservation Deadline is 4:00 PM on the Monday prior to the meeting. If you make a Reservation and cannot attend, please cancel, you will be charged for the meal if you do not. Price of meals are payable by check only at the door.
The Catering Chairperson maintains a Permanent List for Reservations, call once to put your name on the list and have a Reservation for the entire Season. You must renew annually.
Presentations following the meal are 1 to 2 ½ hours long, depending on the content. We feature local and national artists, art historians, authors and other topics which might be of interest to our visual art community.

start the Holiday Season with a delicious morning brunch in the Great Hall at the Cincinnati Art Museum. We will have our annual Painting Exchange and a presentation by Dr. Ainsley M. Cameron, Curator of South Asian Art, Islamic Art and Antiquities will give an introduction to Beyond Bollywood: 2000 Years of Dance in Art.

Margi Hopkins will discuss colored pencils. Margi is a CPSA National Signature member and award winner. Have been accepted into ViewPoint multiple times including this past year. This will be a Saturday morning presentation as originally scheduled.

Cora Arney—Presentation about the Founders of Baker Hunt
March 17th, 2023
Cora Arney, the Learning Director at Baker Hunt Art & Cultural Center, will make a presentation on Margaretta Baker-Hunt and her niece Kate Scudder, who founded Baker Hunt. She will discuss the nearly 100 years of the Baker Hunt.

Kevin Necessary–
This video is the Cincinnati Art Club Program from March 19, 2021 which was recorded from Zoom. Kevin is a freelance cartoonist, comics journalist, and illustrator. He currently provides a weekly editorial cartoon for The Cincinnati Enquirer and the USA Today network. In addition to his editorial cartoons, Kevin is a freelance illustrator and storyboard artist.

Reminiscences on John A Ruthven by DeVere Burt, Director Emeritus, Cincinnati Natural History Museum. DeVere speaks about his good friend and Cincinnati native John A Ruthven, naturalist and nationally recognized nature artist in his presentation, “Paint what you know, paint what you love!” This is the Cincinnati Art Club Program from April 29, 2021.
