Cincinnati Art Club Membership is open to anyone who appreciates the visual arts. Our members have been leaders in their professions, forces in the community and warm in their welcome for those who share their passion. Become part of Greater Cincinnati’s largest group of women and men who promote the love of visual arts through education and community outreach.
Here’s where you can find an artistic home–
Your application will be voted on at the monthly Board Meeting following the receipt of your application. You will be notified as soon as possible thereafter of your acceptance. Those not accepted will get a refund through the method of payment used in the original transaction.

To get more information about our Club or an explanation of the process of becoming a Member of the Cincinnati Art Club, contact our Membership Chairperson. They can also make arrangements for you to attend up to three of our activities before you make your decision to become a Member.

Sponsorship
There is a request on our Membership Application for Sponsors. Why do we do this? If you know someone who is already a Member of the Cincinnati Art Club, we suggest you tell them you are applying for membership and ask them if you can put their name down as your Sponsor. A Sponsor will help you become acquainted with our activities and introduce you to other Members of the Club. Having friends to share your experience makes for a long lasting, rewarding relationship! If you don’t know someone in the Club, leave those fields blank and we’d be happy to introduce you to someone who could take you under their wing.
Associate Membership
Anyone, beginners, professionals and even non-artists can be an Associate Member. You will need to submit an Application, pay the appropriate dues and wait for approval by the Board of Trustees. While you’re waiting for the Board approval, feel free to attend our regular scheduled programing. Associate Member artists are provided at least one show per year to exhibit their work.
Out-of-Town Membership
Out-of-Town Membership is for individuals residing 75 miles or more from Cincinnati. Pay only $50 and this membership keeps you on the Roster and entitles you to receive the Dragonfly newsletter but excludes attendance at most ongoing activities. But, if you’re in town let us know and feel free to attend any scheduled activity along with local membership.
Student Membership
There are five (5) FREE Student Members allowed each year by our Constitution. Student Members have full access to all the activities of the Club (with parental permission for those under 18 years of age). Contact our Membership Chairperson to see if you qualify as a FREE Student Member. If you don’t qualify for one of the FREE Student memberships, we offer access at a reduced rate of $50 per year.
Signature Membership
Signature Membership reflects the recognition of the quality of your work through a juried process. You must first become an Associate Member by submitting an Application and paying the appropriate Dues. It is highly suggested that you attend our monthly Critique Group and have your work reviewed to gain insight to possible improvements prior to submitting to Signature Review. Then submit five pieces of artwork that represent a consistent body of your work to an anonymous Review Committee that meets at announced times during the year. Upon gaining acceptance as a Signature Member, you will be billed dues annually at the Signature level. Members at this level have full voting responsibility, are considered leaders and mentors while participating in all activities of our organization and are provided at least two Signature Exhibitions of their work each year.
