Open to the Public –
Founder’s Week is a celebration of the visual arts in the “Queen City”. Once again, we embrace our region’s heritage through a fine art competition, exhibition, visual art demonstrations and gallery talks by nationally ranked fine artists.
Starting in 2020 the Cincinnati Art Club initiated
what is becoming an annual tradition…
The initial Founders’ Week program was to be two weeks of special events celebrating the Club’s rich history over its first 130 years. With just 5 lively days of activities completed, we had to curtail the balance due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. In 2021 we were able to take back up where we had left off with a thematic, juried exhibit of local and regional artists, special art demonstrations and lectures for the general public, all held in the Club’s Herman and Bessie Wessel Gallery.
