Crazy 8s Fundraiser
Remember the Big Lift Panel Auction (October 28, 2023). We were so excited to get started on meeting our $500,000 Capital Campaign goal. We raised a nice chunk of money with that auction (approximately $104,200). Well, here we are two years later, and we are now almost finished with the Clubhouse renovation. And we are now almost finished with raising money for the renovation… but we are not quite there yet. Here is where you come in…
We have purchased 100 Wood Cradle Panels, 8″ x 8″, 1-1/2″. These panels are suitable for any medium. Oil, Acrylic, Works on Paper (paper adhered with PVA glue), Mixed Media, Collage, relief pottery/sculpture, etc. (I can hear your brain thinking). The panels are deep enough to stand up by themselves on a table or shelf and small enough to be in a decorative table easel. The perfect piece of Art for the interested buyer.
We need: 100 members to take a panel and commit to making art on a panel.

Pick Up Panels:
Panels are available for pick up at the Club at Sketch Group (Monday 1:00-4:00, Thursday 7:00-9:00) Signature Show Opening and Weekend (September 12 13,14), Member Dinner Meeting (September 17). You will need to sign-out a panel with your name and phone number on the sign-out sheet on the table in the Cloak Room. You may take two panels if you have the time to complete them. You will need to Gesso the panel how you see fit and finish the sides of the panel however you wish, but it needs to be in presentation order, it needs to look finished. (sides painted black/white/gray, natural, continue design, etc.) We will attach Velcro to the back to hang the panels on the carpeted walls in the gallery.

Images of panels (made ready just like we do for our online exhibitions) are due November 14 or sooner. Send them in by email to development@incinnatiartclub.com with Subject line to read: Crazy 8s Panel.
Panels are Due:
Turn in you completed panel to the Club at Thursday Sketch Group on November 13th 7:00-9:00, Friday November 14th at the Critique Show Opening and November 15-16 during open hours of the show.

Saturday November 22 1:00-4:00 PM Sunday November 23 1:00-3:00 PM
$100 each Friday and Saturday, Sunday anything left $50. (if your panel does not sell you will get it back)
