Digital Art Working Group (DAWG)

For Members and guests–
The Digital Art Working Group (DAWG) is a special interest group of the Cincinnati Art Club. The purpose of DAWG is to explore how to introduce digital into fine arts. This is not a proposal to embrace all forms of new modern art, nor to abandon classical representational art. We discuss a broader outlook and understanding of current computer tools and techniques.
The vision of DAWG is to welcome and encourage the use of digital tools and technology in the creation of the fine arts within the artist community.
DAWG meets for “round table discussions” of interested members and guests who research and report for the benefit of the group, searching out new art making tools and accessories that are relevant to the fine arts today. We are a core group of members who are tuned into the discovery of new tools and ideas that would carry forward as new technologies emerge.
.Both members and non-members of the Cincinnati Art Club are invited. DAWG meets the LAST Tuesday of the month during the CAC’s regular season (September – May). For more information, email Digital Art Working Group.
