2023 Seventh Annual Greater Cincinnati
High School Plein Air

The Cincinnati Art Club (CAC) and Cincinnati Parks are excited to announce the winners of the seventh annual Greater Cincinnati High School Art Students Plein Air Art Competition.

The five student artist Award Winners’ work will start their display to the public in the Cincinnati Art Museum’s (CAM) Rosenthal Education Center. After approximately 1 year on display at CAM, they will travel to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, Harold C Schott Education Center for a year’s display. All are shown below receiving their awards and congratulations from Christine Kuhr, President, Cincinnati Art Club.

We hope everyone who participated enjoyed the HSPA this year. Please tell your fellow students and teachers so they can plan on participating next year!

Winners of the Seventh HSPA Competition

First Place

1st place – Addie Johnson, Summit Country Day
$500 cash award, a trophy for school display, plus display of the artwork for 1 year at public locations in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Second Place

2nd Place – Alice Pence, Saint Ursula Academy
$200 cash award, plus display of the artwork for 1 year at public locations in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Third Place

3rd Place – Marin Myers, Spencer Center High School
$150 cash award, plus display of the artwork for 1 year at public locations in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Fourth Place

4th Place – MacKenzie Specht, Ursuline Academy
$100 cash award, plus display of the artwork for 1 year at public locations in the Greater Cincinnati area.

CAC Artists’ Choice – Daisy Doran, Summit Country Day
$50 Plaza Art Supplies Gift Card, plus display of the artwork for 1 year at public locations in the Greater Cincinnati area.
